What happens when you bring together a roomful of professionals, a high-stakes public sector environment, and a data protection training designed for impact, not just tick-boxes?
Transformation.
This week, we had the immense privilege of delivering our intensive, no-fluff “all-you-need to-know” training for Information Asset Owners (IAOs) to officers from a UK police force. It was a day built on clarity, relevance, and connection, because true understanding doesn’t come from lectures; it’s forged through meaningful engagement.

At 9:30 AM, we kicked things off with a simple poll. The results?
25% of participants admitted they knew nothing about information asset management.
75% said they knew a little.
By 16:30, the picture had changed dramatically. On our closing poll:
88% told us they knew a lot more than when they walked in.
13% said they knew a little more than that morning. (Yes, that’s 101%—thank you, MS Teams rounding!)
From passive awareness to active ownership in less than a day.
These results aren’t just encouraging, they’re evidence of the shift we strive for in every session: turning uncertainty into confidence, ambiguity into accountability.
For us, training is about more than content delivery. It's about:
Empowering IAOs to spot and mitigate risk at its root.
Building shared language around accountability and governance.
Cultivating a culture where protecting information isn’t optional, it’s instinctive.
What made it work? Practical, real world examples. No jargon. Psychological insight. And above all, the commitment to meet officers where they are and help them walk out stronger, clearer, and more equipped.
We’re proud to play a part in building not just compliance, but trust and resilience in public service.
And we’re only getting started.
